Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information systeMoe collects through systemoe.com, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. systeMoe is an automation studio run by Moe Akhawan in North York, Ontario, Canada. "We" and "us" mean systeMoe.

What we collect

• Contact form. Your first and last name, email address, phone number, business name, team size, the services you are interested in, and anything you write in your message.
• Call booking. Your name, email address, phone number and the time you pick when you book a call through the calendar on this site.
• Messages. The content of emails and other messages you send us, and our replies.
• Payments. If you become a client, your billing name, email and payment details. Card details are entered on our payment provider's pages and go straight to them; we never see or store full card numbers.
• Technical data. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, to keep the site secure and working.

This site does not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare for a call with you.
• To book, confirm, remind you about and reschedule calls.
• To provide our services, send invoices and take payment.
• To keep the site secure and stop spam.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not add you to a marketing list unless you ask us to. Every marketing email we send has an unsubscribe link.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the service providers we need to run the business:

• Cloudflare for website hosting, the contact form and email routing.
• Google for email, the booking calendar, calendar invites, Google Meet calls and the fonts on this site.
• Stripe for payment processing.

These providers may store and process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it is subject to the laws of that country. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and booking details for as long as we are in contact with you, and client and billing records for as long as tax and accounting rules require. After that, we delete them.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to show you the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. You can also withdraw your consent to being contacted. Email [email protected] and we will reply within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection, and access to our systems is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
